Louise Daniels
1919-11-11 2011-11-29Louise Rayzer was born on November 11, 1919 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. She was the youngest of three children from the union of the late Olivia and Leo Rayzer. The family relocated to Rankin, PA where she and her siblings were raised. In her teens, with the family now living in the city, she continued her education in the Pittsburgh Public School System. Louise, as a young adult, moved to Baltimore, MD. There she met and married the late Danny Daniels. Their union was not blessed with children, but she was mother to so many; spending the greater part of her adult life as a house mother caring for young girls and boys in group homes, juvenile settings, and the like.
She loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with her husband. She was very outgoing and loved being around her family and friends. After her husband’s death she returned to Pittsburgh to be near her family.
Mother Daniels was a member of New Jerusalem Holiness Church. After celebrating 92 years here on earth, she went to her heavenly home to be with the Lord on November 29, 2011.
She is preceded in death by her brothers: Clarence and John Rayzer.
She leaves to honor and cherish her memory a host of 4 generations of nieces and nephews, her church family, and friends. Mother Daniels will be greatly missed by all.
