
Clarence Rayzer Sr.
1912-04-12 1983-06-30Clarence Rayzer, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leo Rayzer, was born April 12, 1912 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. At an early age, he came to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania were he remained until his death.
On the twenty-six of November 1929, in Pittsburgh, he was united in marriage to Miss Isadora Robinson. From this union, 13 children were born: Thelma, laroe, Clarence Jr., Bertha Ann, Isadora, Loretta, Dorothy Elizabeth, Irene, Oliver, Samuel, David, Melvin and Peggy.
In 1934, he became employed by Westinghouse Electric Corporation, from which he retired after 36 years of service.
Clarence was also an active member of several clubs.
On Thursday, June 30, 1983 from the Presbytarian-University Hospital, Clarence Rayzer departed this life. He leaves to mourn: Mrs. Isadora Rayzer and 11 children: Mr. Clarence Rayzer Jr., Mrs. Bertha Ann Brown, Mrs. Isadora White, Mrs. Loretta Waddell, Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Henderson, Mrs. Irene Berry, Mr. Oliver Rayzer, Mr. Samuel Rayzer, Mr. Davide Rayzer, Mr. Melvin Rayzer and Mrs. Peggy Ikemma; one brother, Mr. Johnny Rayzer of Manhattan, New York and one sister, Mrs. Louise Daniels of Orange, New Jersey; twenty-eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friend.
