Inez Irene Dillard Rayzer was born on November 20, 1942 to the late Hamp Dillard, Sr. and Inez Dalton Dillard in Pittsburgh, PA.  She departed this life on Saturday January 13, 2001 at Montefiore Hospital.
Inez was educated in the Pittsburgh Public School System where she graduated from Fifth Avenue High School, later to attend the Community College of Allegheny County.
Inez was a devoted Buddhist.  She was united in marriage to Oliver Rayzer, Sr., and from this union she leaves to mourn five children, Oliver Rayzer Jr. of Dallas, TX, Phillip Rayzer and Howard Rayzer of Pittsburgh, PA, Stephanie Rayzer of Montego Bay, Jamaica, and Steven Rayzer of Annapolis, MD.
Inez also leaves to mourn, one step-daugher Kimberly Allen Thomas of McDonald, PA; eleven grandchildren; five brothers whom proceeded her in death, Hamp Dillard, Jr., Willie James Dillard, Barry Lee Dillard, Fletcher Dillard, Tommy Dillard, all of Pittsburgh, PA; five sisters, Delores Chatman, Carolyn Riveria, Antoinette, Cassandra, and Stephanie Lynn Gardner; brother, LeRoy Dillard; one brother-in-law, Miguel Riveria; two sisters-in-law, Gwendolyn and Devora Dillard; one stepson-in-law, Ronald Thomas; three daughers-inlaw, Shanna Rayzer, Catherine Rayzer, and LaSaune Rayzer; and a host, host, host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Obituary:
James Terrell Hughes was born Labor Day September 5, 1972 to James Oliver and Sharon Denise (Campbell) Hughes in Pittsburgh, PA.  In Cleveland he was known as James and to his family and friends he was known as Terrell.  He attended Lincoln Elementary, Margaret Milliones Middle School,  School for Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) and Schenley High School.  In the 6th grade he began to play the bariton saxophone.  People would say "look at the little kid with the big saxophone."  During his years at CAPA Terrell continued to play the Baritone and Alto Saxophone.  He was selected for the All City Orchestra where he was "first chair," a prestigious position.  He continued to play his horn as adulthood.

Terrel worked his whole life starting at age 14 with Urban Youth Action, Inc., where he caught the entrepreneurial spirit.  He attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he studied hotel and resturant management.  In 1993, he moved to Cleveland, Ohio where he worked for a window manufacturer.  Terrell studied the window business from the ground up.  He became certified in window installation, and subsequently left the comjpany to start his own remodeling and window installation business, Window Crafters, LLC.

Continuing his entrepreneurial interests he entered the real estate market where he bought and sold many properties until the housing market collapsed several years ago.  Being self-employed was not always easy but with the skill and determination he always presevered.  In addition, to running his own companies he worked as a representative for American Communications Network (ACN) on a part-time basis.  Recently he began working in his off-season for the Marriott Hotels returning to his interest in hotel management.  Terrell was an officer in his homeowners association where he lived and volunteered in his community.  Terrell was a very hard worker and took pride in everything he did.

Terrell enjoyed music and was a good golfer.  He enjoyed palying golf with his later Grandfather, Eugene Campbell, and he often took his five-year old daughter Sarah to play golf.  Terrell was a great father and loved all his children.  Unexpectedly on December 31, 2014 Terrell left this life.  He leaves to mourn his wife, Tazi Powell-Hughes: Jaiya A. Eugene "Mickey" Rayzer Campbell was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on September 26, 1033 to the late John Lee Rayzer Sr. and Dorothy Campbell.

 

Eugene attended the Pittsburgh Public Schools.  After High school he joined the United States Army.  He was married at a young age and was the father of five children, Victoria, Sharon, Renee, Gene, and Malinda.

 

Eugene moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 1969 where he met and married Thelma Boyd.

 

He worked  for Stouffer's Frozen Foods for 25 years., while maintaining his own cleaning business with his wife.  Upon retirement he secured part-time employment with the Cloeveland Metropark's Shawne Golf Course.  He was an avid golfer and could be found on the golf course whenever weather permitted with his golfing buddies.

 

After a lengthy illness he went home to be with the Lord.  He leaves to mourn his wife Thelma Victoria Brannon of Pittsburgh, PA, Sharon (Jerome) Morris of Pittsburgh, PA, Rnee (Edward) Dugger of Cleveland, OH, Gene (Cathy) Campbell of Milwaukee, WI, Malinda Campbell of Cleveland, OH, Thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, his Uncle Buddy & Ardella Campbell of Pittsburgh, PA, and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.  His special friend Lorenzo "Boo" Early of San Diego, CA.

Obituary:

Isadora Rayzer White, daughter of the late Clarence and Isadore Rayzer was born on October 13, 1935 and was called by God quietly, early Tuesday morning, September 19, 1995.

 

Isadora was formally eductation in the Pittsburgh Public School System, however her true knowledge and wisdom came from her unquenchable desire to learn more.  She was well learned in a myriade of topics including medicine, health, history, politics and most impressively, the Bible.  This passion for learning was undoubtedly passed onto her children.

 

Isadora was a strong believer in family and was totally devoted to her children.  She not only taught them to strive for the best but also showed them the importance of God to help them attain their every endeavor.  She was extremely proud to see her children achieve and accomplish goals which during her youth were merely dreams deferred, which dry up like raisin in the sun.

 

Isadora, was the beloved wife of Amos Samuel.  Theire special love for one another should be an example to all who search for true love.  Their love which they shared for the last eighteen years is a testament of God's commandment that "the two shall become one".

 

Isadora was loved by all who knew her, she leaves loving memories for husband, Mr. Amos Samuel, six daughters: Mrs Lynda Taylor, Ms. Ruth White, Mrs. Mary Oladiran, Mrs. Rebecca Perry, Mrs. Edith Singley, Mrs. Diana Miller, two sons: Mr. David White and Mr. Joseph White, five sisters: Bertha, Loretta, Irene, Dorothy (deseased), Peggy, five brothers: Clarence Jr., Oliver, David, Samuel, Davide, and Melvin.  An uncle, John Rayzer of New York, Ny, and aunt, Louise Daniels.  Fourteen grandchildren:  Renee, Alicia, Sharmarra, David, Natasha, Debra, Joseph Jr., Daniel, LaShawnda, William, Jamiyla, Torian, Shelah and Alex.  One great grandchild: Kevin, and a host of nieces, cousins, and friends.

Obituary:

Louise Rayzer was born on November 11, 1919 in Orangeburg, South Carolina.  She was the youngest of three children from the union of the late Olivia and Leo Rayzer.  The family relocated to Rankin, PA where she and her siblings were raised.  In her teens, with the family now living in the city, she continued her education in the Pittsburgh Public School System.  Louise, as a young adult, moved to Baltimore, MD.  There she met and married the late Danny Daniels.  Their union was not blessed with children, but she was mother to so many; spending the greater part of her adult life as a house mother caring for young girls and boys in group homes, juvenile settings, and the like.

She loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with her husband.  She was very outgoing and loved being around her family and friends.  After her husband’s death she returned to Pittsburgh to be near her family.

Mother Daniels was a member of New Jerusalem Holiness Church.  After celebrating 92 years here on earth, she went to her heavenly home to be with the Lord on November 29, 2011.

She is preceded in death by her brothers: Clarence and John Rayzer.

She leaves to honor and cherish her memory a host of 4 generations of nieces and nephews, her church family, and friends.  Mother Daniels will be greatly missed by all.

Dorothy Elizabeth Rayzer daugher of Mrs. Isadore Rayzer and the late Clarence Rayzer, Sr. was born on January 5, 1938 in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania.  She departed this life early Tuesday morning, March 6, 1990 in Montefiore Hospital.
Dorothy was formally educated in the public schools of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
She was an active member in the Title III Headstart Program and participated in various community organizations.
Dorothy was united in marriage to Delbert Henderson, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  She had three children, a daugher Diane Marie Reed, son Anthony Clarence Martin Rayzer, and son Aaron Richard Lee Henderson.
She was well like by all that knew her.  She leaves to mourn, daughter Diane of Wichita, Kansas; son Anthony; son Aaron; mother Mrs. Isadore Rayzer; five sisters, Bertha, Isadora, Loretta, Irene, Peggy; five brothers, Clarence, Oliver, Samuel, David, Melvin; Uncle and Aunt, John and Ivern Rayzer of New York, NY; Aunt Lousie Daniels of East Orange, NJ, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Irene Rayzer Berry Turner was born on April 1, 1039 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Clarence and Isadore Rayzer.  She departed this life quietly on January 15, 2002.
Irene was educated in the Pittsburgh Public School System, where she graduated from Irwin Vocational High School.  She furthered her education and obtained a degree from Duff's Business Institute, majoring in office machines.
Irene embodied the entrepreneurial spirit and was a true saleswoman.  She sold insurance for several years, later becoming a real estate agent.  During her twenty year career in real estate, Irene helped hundreds of families realize home ownership.  She was know for  taking the worst financial situations and getting mortgages approved.  As an agent for Ghafoor Realty in Homewood, she recieved numerous awards including Agen of the Year for the West Penn Multi-LIst Service.  Irene was a community activist wherever she called home.  In Hazelwood, she volunteered with the neighborhood Improvement Association, and at Burgwin Elementary School.
Possessing a strong commitment to education Irene volunteered with the Coalition of a United Clairton, an organization dedicated to provide tutoring and culture to the children of Clairton.  Irene also taught in the Sunday school at Gethsemane Church of God in Christ, her church home for over twenty five years.
Irene was a fun-loving, strong woman, fiercely devoted to her family.
Irene united in marriage to her High School sweetheart, Alfred J. Drawn, and to this union was born two daughters, Lynette Irene Drawn-Williamson, and Shelly Renee Brown.
Later, Irene married her life companion, Rev. Dr. Charles Turner, whom she affectionately called, Charlie.  Dr. Turner lovingly shared her life and was by her side when the Lord called her home.
She leavs to cherish: her husband, Rev. Samuel Rayzer was born on April 9, 1943 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Clarence and Isadore Rayzer, he died suddenly on July 24, 2003,  Samuel was educated in the Pittsburgh Public School system.  He completed his education at Fifth Avenue High School.  In his youmger years he played baseball and basketball.  As a child he was on various little leage teams.  He won awards for playing sports.  Throughout his life he worked in different maintenance areas.  He retired from the Morrowfield Apartments after 20 years of service as a mntenance worker.  Samuel was a fun loving, strong man, that love his family. He had a strong work ethic and he was always willing to help in any capacity.

Clarence Rayzer, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leo Rayzer, was born April 12, 1912 in Orangeburg, South Carolina.  At an early age, he came to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania were he remained until his death.

 

On the twenty-six of November 1929, in Pittsburgh, he was united in marriage to Miss Isadora Robinson.  From this union, 13 children were born:  Thelma, laroe, Clarence Jr., Bertha Ann, Isadora, Loretta, Dorothy Elizabeth, Irene, Oliver, Samuel, David, Melvin and Peggy.

 

In 1934, he became employed by Westinghouse Electric Corporation, from which he retired after 36 years of service.

 

Clarence was also an active member of several clubs.

 

On Thursday, June 30, 1983 from the Presbytarian-University Hospital, Clarence Rayzer departed this life.  He leaves to mourn:  Mrs. Isadora Rayzer and 11 children:  Mr. Clarence Rayzer Jr., Mrs. Bertha Ann Brown, Mrs. Isadora White, Mrs. Loretta Waddell, Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Henderson, Mrs. Irene Berry, Mr. Oliver Rayzer, Mr. Samuel Rayzer, Mr. Davide Rayzer, Mr. Melvin Rayzer and Mrs. Peggy Ikemma;  one brother, Mr. Johnny Rayzer of Manhattan, New York and one sister, Mrs. Louise Daniels of Orange, New Jersey; twenty-eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friend.
