Irene Rayzer Berry Turner was born on April 1, 1039 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Clarence and Isadore Rayzer. She departed this life quietly on January 15, 2002.
Irene was educated in the Pittsburgh Public School System, where she graduated from Irwin Vocational High School. She furthered her education and obtained a degree from Duff's Business Institute, majoring in office machines.
Irene embodied the entrepreneurial spirit and was a true saleswoman. She sold insurance for several years, later becoming a real estate agent. During her twenty year career in real estate, Irene helped hundreds of families realize home ownership. She was know for taking the worst financial situations and getting mortgages approved. As an agent for Ghafoor Realty in Homewood, she recieved numerous awards including Agen of the Year for the West Penn Multi-LIst Service. Irene was a community activist wherever she called home. In Hazelwood, she volunteered with the neighborhood Improvement Association, and at Burgwin Elementary School.
Possessing a strong commitment to education Irene volunteered with the Coalition of a United Clairton, an organization dedicated to provide tutoring and culture to the children of Clairton. Irene also taught in the Sunday school at Gethsemane Church of God in Christ, her church home for over twenty five years.
Irene was a fun-loving, strong woman, fiercely devoted to her family.
Irene united in marriage to her High School sweetheart, Alfred J. Drawn, and to this union was born two daughters, Lynette Irene Drawn-Williamson, and Shelly Renee Brown.
Later, Irene married her life companion, Rev. Dr. Charles Turner, whom she affectionately called, Charlie. Dr. Turner lovingly shared her life and was by her side when the Lord called her home.

Robert Brown), Isadora White (deceased); Loretta Waddell, Dorothy Elizabeth Rayzer (deceased); Oliver "Cookie" Rayzer (Ethel Rayzer); Samuel Rayzer, David Lee Rayzer, and Melvin Rayzer, all of Pittsburgh, PA, and Peggy Ikemma, Blackridge, PA; grandchildren: Avanalist Jackson, III, Brandi Dominique-Siobhan Jackson and Monica Brown, Penn Hills, PA; Jaston James Ball, Clairton, PA; Robert Joel Williamson, Jr.; Pittsburgh, PA; Emmett Lawrence Brown, Jr., Penn Hills, PA, Shealyn Irene Williamson, Pittsburgh, PA; and Noaha Emeka Bradley-Berry, Clairton, PA; sons-in-laws: Robert Joel Williamson, Sr., Pittsburgh, PA and Emmett Lawrence Brown, Sr., Penn Hills, PA, Aunt Louise Daniels, Pittsburgh, PA, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.
